Tile-Making Workshop & Iftar with Guest Artist Leila Fatemi

Sehn Studio is pleased to present a special workshop led by guest artist Leila Fatemi, exploring the rich artistic traditions of Islamic architecture, ceramics, and ornamentation. Participants will engage in a hands-on tile-making session, drawing inspiration from historical and contemporary Islamic art to create and decorate their own ceramic pieces.

Through guided instruction and discussion, attendees will explore the cultural and historical significance of pattern, geometry, and surface decoration in Islamic art. This workshop will conclude with a shared iftar meal, fostering a communal space for reflection, dialogue, and connection.

This event is open to all, regardless of religious or cultural background. No prior experience in ceramics is required—this is an opportunity to learn, create, and engage with artistic traditions in a welcoming environment.
