Ceramic Hand-Building Workshop: Surface Design Techniques

Back by popular demand! This workshop will explore various surface design techniques on clay using underglaze and glaze.

Over the course of three weeks, you will be guided through the entire process of hand-building with clay, from start to finish. I will deliver information using demonstrations and slideshow presentations.

All materials, tools and firing will be provided. Just bring ideas of what you want to make!

Sessions are 3 hours each, and will take place at my private studio in Parkdale, at 77 Florence Street. Participants will be emailed further information.

*In the case that you miss a class, you can make up for it at a later date. Please note that cracks, imperfections and unexpected results may occur and are part of the learning process.

For any questions or concerns please feel free to email me.

These sessions are perfect for beginners and no experience is needed. Each 2-hour session includes all materials and firing costs. I’ll provide everything you need, including aprons and indoor footwear.
